Health is Not the Absence of Sickness

In this workshop, Madeline will address the benefits of health and physical activity. She will provide recommendations for healthy diets/ living and will be giving exercise recommendation. She will lecture about the rate of obesity and how it is affecting our population, especially African American women, in the hopes to better the participants eating/ living habits.

Madeline Griffith

Madeline is a graduate student at CSU San Marcos. She teaches Yoga and loves health and wellness. Madeline has chosen to live an active and healthy lifestyle due to the health challenges in her family. She is a former collegiate athlete, who although retired, continues to live an active life. Madeline is passionate about helping the community live healthy.
