The Mission of the North County African American Women's Association is to provide a support network through education, health awareness, and life skills programs for women and girls in San Diego North County to increase their self-sufficiency.

The NCAAWA was founded by eleven committed and dedicated women in the Oceanside area in 1994.
The organization was formed to celebrate ethnic and racial pride and to explore the beauty and strength of our culture.
One of our goals is assisting graduating seniors and women in the North San Diego County achieve their future goals. We do this through our fund raising efforts. The major fund raising event is the Gentlelmen's Gourmet. This community event is a special one indeed and well attended each year.
