North County African American Women’s Association Celebrates 20 Years Empowering, Inspiring, and Engaging Women!

We cordially invite you to join the NCAAWA for our 2016 Women’s Conference Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido, CA, 8 A.M.-3 P.M. We will be celebrating 20 years of Empowering, Inspiring, and Engaging women. Our Keynote Speaker is Aja Brown, Mayor of Compton and our Motivational Speaker for the youth is Nate Howard. Our Mistress of Ceremonies is Starla Lewis. Our conference includes workshops to strengthen your mind, body and spirit and will feature a “Stylish Market Place” for shopping. Continental breakfast, lunch, and parking included. Ticket Prices are” $75.00 Adults (19 and above) and $35 Students (18 and below). Check-in begins at 7:30 A.M.

The North County African American Women’s Association, now in its 20th year, has been committed to empowering, inspiring and engaging women in North County areas of San Diego. The organization was formed to celebrate multicultural and inter-generational uniqueness and to explore the beauty and strength of our culture.

The 2016 Conference theme Strengthening Mind, Body, and Spirit builds upon NCAAWA’s long standing mission to provide a support network through education, health awareness and life skills programs for women and girls in San Diego North County. This conference is designed to appeal to a broad range of women including teens, young adults, women of various backgrounds and ethnicity seeking to improve their position in life. You will enjoy our informative keynote speakers, interactive workshops and our stylish market place where artisans showcase a splendid array of products. Workshops feature worklife balance, financial planning, personal empowerment, professional development, life and spiritual wellness.
